For all you Elizabeth Arden fans, this is the exact same stuff as the Eight Hour Cream Intensive Moisturizing Hand Treatment, right down to the scent. I have always been a fan of this lotion and one day I recieved Arden's as a freebie in a colletion I purchased. I had heard that it was one of the best so I was excited to get a good sized sample (1 oz.) As soon as I tried it, it felt, smelled and worked the exact same way Avon's did. The only difference was the price and I'd much rather pay 4 dollars for Avon's. This cream does take a couple minutes to sink into your skin but when it does you can feel it for hours. Your hands automatically feel very smooth and soft. It doesn't wear off quickly which is a huge bonus because I work in insurance and have to deal with writing and paperwork all day and I don't have time to keep reapplying lotion and waiting for it to work. I would definitely recommend this to anyone with dry skin.
Pros:Keeps hands soft all day, perfect for cracked skin Cons:takes a couple minutes to sink in
Here i have Avons Planet Spa, foot African Shea Butter and elbow cream wiith AHA (which i warn you the smell is addcitive).
This pot of treatment is delectible. The first thing you will notice when you open the pot is the smell, then when you aplly this thick gorgeous cream and massage into feet or elbows you will see and feel the cream softening and soothing.I use this cream with foot socks and can feel a sensation after application, almost a cooling sensation but ever so slight.Apply this cream to feet and elbows for soft skin on feet and elbows.I use this cream every night with mositurising socks and its great as a treatment before and after pedicure.Really moisturises and i rate this treatment quite high, and also prefer it to some other much more expensive brands.
Pros:smells amazing, mosituries and smooths, high lasting fragrance. Cons:i cant see any cons apart from may be to highly fragranzed for some users.Pesonally.i adore it.
I got this as a gift from my Grandmother. Bless her heart, but it is probably a scent a Grandmother would like (please forgive me and not trying to offend any Grandmother's out there).
It is a light floral, sweet musky scent. I have only sprayed this once to smell it. It sits in a box in my room. Therefore, it's just not my type of perfume. I think this is discontinued with Avon. The bottle is kinda pretty, a pretty peachy pink sheer color.
My skin: NW25/sensitive/hyper-oily/acne prone w/ pink undertones
Pros:light floral soft musky scent Cons:not my type
I used to love this perfume in high school, but now it suffocates me. I actually used up a full bottle of this, but somehow my penchant for it changed in the 2nd bottle. Eventually this just started to smell cloying. I would feel sharp headpains a feel a little nautious. At first I thought I was really sick before I realized i was just sick from the perfume.
That one episode was enough to put me off this perfume for good.
Let me just say, no cream or lotion or potion will magically remove cellulite. If you read all the instructions on all cellulite creams, they all say to rub or massage for a certain amount of time, into skin. Well ladies.....the rubbing and massaging is what works, not the cream!
When you massage your skin and create blood circulation and stimulate the cellulite areas, this is what will break up and make cellulite disappear or appear smoother or better, NOT creams. You can use ANY cream, lotion, oil while doing this. It's better to do it for about 5 minutes or longer, deep tissue massage is great for stimulating the skin, body, fat cells, cellulite and removing cellulite.
So my review on this is, it's bogus! Too much hype on cellulite creams, if you do as the directions say....yes you will notice your cellulite getting better....but using any lotion, cream, oil....if following the same directions, you'll get the same effect.
Don't waste your money on any anti-cellulite creams.
Pros:it's an ok lotion Cons:any lotion, cream, oil will help when massaging your skin....cellulite creams are not magic....its the massage that works
Avons Moisture Therapy Hand Cream is an INTENSIVE moisturizing hand cream. I also will use this on my feet and just glob it on at night and then put socks on and go to bed and feel moisturized and soft feet in the morning. It claims to retain 75% increase in skin's moisture level and lasts for up to 8 hours. I've noticed this is truely and intensive moisturizer I will sometimes use when my hands or feet are extremely dry.
Downfall is it does feel greasy to me and doesn't seem to soak in as much as I'd like.
Pros:intensively moisturizing Cons:doesn't quite soak in or feels a bit greasy
This shower gel smells great, and leaves the skin smooth as silk! The hook-style top is great for hanging the shower gel from shower fixtures, and makes it easier to use the product completely. Available in a variety of scents, not just Vanilla. Isn't extremely pricey either, and IMHO it's the same quality as any other body wash/shower gel sold by companies like B&BW.
I bought this for my husband for last year's Fathers Day. It is absolutely gorgeous. I love men who wear aftershave. This is nice & subtle, with notes of orange. Yum
This is one of my favorite fragrances... its nice and light, and sophisticated. Not too overwhelming. The price is very good and BEAUTIFUL packaging! Plus, if you get it at the right time, you get great freebies!
Makes your skin really soft. Smell's like fruits without it getting up your nose. Packaged in an easy to use bottle. Great for getting into the spring mood
I just love this! It smells nice and leaves my skin feeling soft and dry. It's also pretty inexpensive which makes it a good pick over some of the pricier powders that I've tried out. The only annoying thing is that I like to apply powder with a big brush so I don't make a big mess and it's hard witht his because you can't just dip your brush in. But I know many powders are like this so it's probably just me...
Pros:smells nice, leaves skin soft, dry, and smooth Cons:
I love Today by Avon. It's a soft scent and I haven't found anyone that it doesn't smell good on. At $30.00 it is a must have for anyones perfume collection.
Pros:Soft and universal wear it day and night. Cons:NONE
This has a wonderful citrus scent -- it smells like fresh oranges and lemons, and does not smell too sweet or artificial. It smells yummy enough to eat! (Even my husband has been using it!) However that is its best quality -- I don't think it helped moisturize my skin any more than plain old Dove soap. It does lather up and rinse off just fine though.
Pros:Wonderful citrus scent; lathers and rinses good. Cons:Does not really moisturize my skin.
This is now one of my favorite fragrances from Avon. It's a soft floral and doesn't smell like other Avon fragrances to me. I would definitely buy this one again! I'm looking forward to the next two fragrances in the trilogy.
Pros:Get extra goodies with purchase Cons:none I can think of
